My name is Mike Renoir Chéry. I am a photographer based in Montreal, guided by one certainty: light never lies. It reveals, it cuts, it caresses. My universe moves between shadow and brilliance. Noir & Lumière, inhabited portraits, deep contrasts like silences that speak.

For me, photography is not simply a profession. It is a way of resonating with the world. Of meeting faces, brushing against raw emotions, capturing those fragile moments when a story slips into a gaze before disappearing.

Whether it is a portrait, a stolen moment in the street, the raw energy of an event, or the silent poetry of a place, my intention remains unchanged: to create living images. Images that breathe, that vibrate, that tell a story without raising their voice.

I photograph in black and white as well as in color, but my signature lives elsewhere, in the atmosphere, in the contrast, in authenticity. I am drawn to dramatic light, sincere emotions, those suspended seconds that say more than long speeches.
